(More customer reviews)I have a heat pump with electric auxiliary heat (no gas). Most thermostats switch on this aux heat whenever the temp is turned up more than 1 degree at a time, and don't have a setting to change that. This one gives you the option of which outdoor temperature to turn on the aux heat. Fully programmable via the web, and the control panel looks great. There have been many times where I wanted to turn the heat on remotely, and with this and a web enabled phone it is very easy and simple. My only worry is it requires use of the bayweb website to login and keep up with the programmable settings, meaning no internet connection, no programmable functionality. Also if bayweb goes out of business(hopefully this wont happen) and their website no longer works, this would be a useless thermostat.
