(More customer reviews)We have two of these and they are terrible. The valve assemblies seem to last only about a year and then require expensive and non-standard replacement parts. To make things even more complicated, they seemed to have changed the internal design at some point in the product's life so that the valving is different for different model years. Even when working, the valves do not function that well. It takes a long time to refill the tank, with the last bit taking several minutes.
I am frustrated beyond belief with these toilets. To add insult to injury, they don't even flush that well. I have never had so many problems with any other brand or model. Every time I have to replace a part I consider just buying a new toilet from a different manufacturer. I would strongly consider never buying another Kohler product after having 2 of these. They should be ashamed for producing such a poor design and then selling it for years.
By the way, I talked with my local plumbing shop and they concur with these opinions. They won't sell the Rialto because of the reliability, service and overall performance issues. They still like other models from Kohler, but I haven't gotten there yet.
