It is capable of sustained use. The 18 volt battery lasts several days before you have to recharge it.
This caulking gun is only for use with sausages-not bulk! An inventive person may be able to alter the seals to accept bulk but it would be very difficult to pull the piston back. Also you void the warranty.
It takes Cox tips and retaining rings which are easily obtained from suppliers.
Yes, a battery charger is included.
