(More customer reviews)We purchased two ix 2000 generators. The first one the choke was broken and lying in the box. Also the generator comes with a quart of oil. The oil container was opened and empty. The generator started and sounded awful. It ran for about 30 mins and never ran again. We got a replacement one through amazon the second one came in the box covered in oil. The quart of oil was full and unopened. I don't understand where the oil came from but it was all over and inside the generator. And this generator never ran. I would not recommend this generator all the reviews I have read have been bad. I have heard the generator comes from China then Generac puts their name on it. They do not actually make or back-up their product. Amazon backs up their product they sell and I would use amazon again. I would recommend spending a little extra and get a Honda generator they run forever and are very quite.
