(More customer reviews)I have two weatherguard greenhouses, 8x12 and 8x8. The only drawback to this greenhouse is that the structure relies on the cover to hold it together. This can be a disadvantage if you want to remove the cover during warmer months to replace it with shade material or bird net. I was really disappointed when I got my first greenhouse (the 8x8), but I bought a bunch of JB Weld and used it to "weld" all of the connection points. It took about 10 packages of JB Weld to cover the 8x8 greenhouse, but it made a huge difference. The structure is now completely stable without the cover and has survived heavy winds, rain, and snow with absolutely no problems. If you plan on removing the cover or the ends I would skip the ratchet system that comes with the greenhouse and buy grip clamps or fabric clips instead.
This greenhouse is also the best value that I have found for what you get. I did a lot of research comparing different brands available after I recently lost my home built pvc greenhouse to snow. If you compare weatherguard to some of the other brands you're getting everything you need with the weatherguard for much less. The other brands may start off cheaper to get just the steel frame, but most of the required components are sold separately. So once you add on the cover, end/door kits, and extra rafters or purlins and base materials for stability you're looking at more than double the weatherguard prices for even the most economical competitor models. Like I said earlier, and other reviewers have said the same thing, once you get the frame secure the weatherguard is impressive.
This is also great greenhouse for milder climates if you want to grow through the winter. We have spinach, kale, broccoli, and lettuce growing from Nov - March in zone 7 with no problems. So, overall I'd recommend weatherguard to home growers.
