(More customer reviews)When I noticed this unit had only one star I figured I had to do something. I have owned several portable AC units and this one is by far the best. Before purchasing I read several reviews that were on the Costco site and the consensus was pretty much 50/50 so I was at first a little unsure. Believe me when I tell you that the dual hose design is far superior. I will never buy a single hose unit again after owning this one. My only complaint is that the drain plug is a real hassle to remove if you want to drain the water. I may try a little soap on that. Haier makes several models that look like this one but don't be fooled. This is the model you want. I wonder if the other reviewer was mistaking this for another model that looked the same or maybe New York weather is far worse. In any case this unit couldn't work better in the Pacific Northwest.
