When they arrived (after waiting for about a month), both had broken pieces, but my contractor was able to piece together one complete rain barrel from both boxes. I sent the other one back and received a new one that seemed OK. After my contractor put them together, built a platform for them, and installed the gutters to work with them we waited for the first rain. After the first rain, we realized that both of the plastic bladders inside had small holes in them and were leaking straight through the bottom of the barrels. After trying to explain to Amazon several times that I could not easily ship them back since they were assembled and in place, they gave me the direct number to the company (Exaco). I called Exaco and they were very nice and offered to send me 2 new bladders free of charge, which they did. After I called my contractor back and asked him to put in the new bladders, we realized that they were also leaking from the faucets. My contractor got plumber's tape (or at least I think that's what he said) and was able to fix both of them so they did not leak at the faucets anymore, so we thought we were finally good. I got up a couple of days ago and one of the barrels (they were both full) had literally just fallen apart. The bolts and screws were still in place, but the wood had completey cracked down the side of the barrel, rendering it useless. I would HIGHLY recommend not buying this product. I got it because I though they were pretty, but I would have done MUCH better getting something that worked.
