(More customer reviews)...I bought one for temporary use during a renovation. I thought I would use it for a short period of time and then put it in the basement for occassional use. It turned out to be great. Unless it is brutally hot and humid, it will cool my entire upstairs when set on de-humidify or cool. When placed in two different rooms, one 300 sq. feet and the other 400 sq. feet, it cools (or heats) them very quickly. I also put a new 3M Filtret (TM) sheet on the air-filter every month or so to clean the air. My only complaint is that it is a bit loud, but at night I leave it on in the next room and it does the job in the master bedroom. I am shopping for a second one to use downstairs as well. These have/will replace window ACs.
