Well it's 107 w/ 27 percent humidity in the shade outside right now, 84 with 55 percent humidity in the room with the CP65. It actually feels more like 78 with the breeze it creates. This is a 325 square foot room.
Yes, it does spit very tiny droplets of water out the front. It's not much but it is there.
This is replacing an M150 which leaked, leaked, leaked. DO NOT USE the M150 inside a home, it is probably fine out in a garage with a concrete floor.
The CP65 is quieter than the a/c unit in the room and much quieter than the M150. Doesn't have that low hum of a compressor running.
The a/c unit in the room pulls 700 watts, this uses just 76 watts.
Pros:
Has a good breeze on high, it will blow your hair back if you are right in front of it
LED display - Stays back lit for a couple of minutes after you touch it, shows the 3 speeds, whether it's pumping or not, has a low water indicator and shows if it's oscillating
Has an easy to see water level indicator on the front of the unit
LED display will show when it's low on water
When it gets really low on water and subtle audible alarm goes off for a minute
The pump shuts off when water gets too low
Only .83 amps, that's just 99 watts or .13 horsepower for comparison to other coolers
Quiet
Cons:
Does spit tiny droplets of water out the front, not a big deal for all the cooling it provides, I have a towel on the floor in front of it.
Air inlet is on the side of the unit. Technically the inlet should be in front of a slightly open window to draw dry air on from outside. Seems to be working fine though and this may be helping keep the noise down.

PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER Review

PORTABLE AIR CONDITIONER

Although we have come around to liking this product we were initally disappointed in what was sold as a unit that did not need draining. It does need to be drained or it will automatically shut off after an hour and a half usage. We have it on top of a bowl so that it can drain and thus stay on. It cools the room well but is more work than we expected. Just know what you are buying-an air conditioner that is not self draining!
