(More customer reviews)We purchased the Broan 355BR 1200 CFM Roof Mount Attic Fan several weeks ago. We needed the motor, fan, and temp control units to replace those parts that had been broken due to bad installation by the builder (or one of the many subs) of our home. The contractor who installed the original fan had screwed down the grounding screw with an impact driver until the screw was protruding out the backside of the temp control unit and in the path of the fan blades. It didn't take long for the blades to become notched and broken by the screw until the motor seized up. Since we have replaced it and installed the parts correctly, the fan has worked great; it has brought the temp down in our 2nd floor considerabily. The temp control is working like it should and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. A local electrical supply offered to have the parts ordered for us at nearly double the cost of the whole unit at Amazon. Shipping took about 5 business days (with free super saver shipping). Even the local home improvement stores didn't carry these and it would have taken 3-4 weeks and about $50-75 more than Amazon's price.
