(More customer reviews)When you need to see into tight spaces, around corners, or into a wall, there are few substitutes for this product. The See Snake is a useful tool. This was my second one of these and I have used them for many different purposes. if you need to look into a wall, or down a short length of pipe, this an invaluable tool. The contrast adjustment is good and the LCD monitor produces a nice clear picture. The camera is conveniently flexible, not too stiff and not too soft. The available extensions add 3-6' at a time allowing for extended reach.
My only complaints with these involve the camera head. The plastic camera head housing is a bit too fragile and can be easily broken if twisted the wrong way. It can also be difficult at times to find the proper rotation of the camera head in order to avoid finding yourself viewing an image upside down.
All in all if you find yourself working in tight places often, this tool can save you hours of time and possible patchwork.

(More customer reviews)this is a very helpful product if you have to look into semi tight places, the LED lights up the surroundings very well the the camera provides a clear picture of what you are looking at, but it is not self leveling, so if it gets turned around, your view will also be turned around. if you do decide to get this product, make sure you get the one with an aluminum head. do not get the one with a plastic head as i am sure that you will eventually break it, it doesn't take much. that is probably why they came out with these aluminum heads. i bought mine with a plastic head and i eventually had to purchase a new head. it is not covered in the warranty. mine did come with an extra 3 foot long extension so i don't feel as bad about the broken head. so basically if you need a tool that can slip into places and inspect things without having to open up a wall or something, this is a great tool, just make sure you order the correct one
