(More customer reviews)Bought this unit to mainly take out the chlorine. The UV lamp kills everything, not that the chlorine didn't already. My wife loves the difference in TASTE.
Install was pretty easy. The tee off the angle stop is a little flimsy looking, but has held up so far. The faucet was easy install too. We use pitchers to store the water to limit the cycling of the UV lamp.
We are going to install a whole house filter (mainly for the calcium and sediment in our water) which should help this unit to work less. I highly recommend a whole house filter to save your fixtures from calcification and extra elbow grease on cleaning.
