(More customer reviews)I've owned one of these for about 10 years. It finally stopped running and I would have thought I had worn it out. After close inspection, I found the motor had just gotten clogged up and it jammed. I took the motor housing apart, put in a little time and elbow grease, and I have a vacuum that runs and sounds like new! I was really motivated when I looked and found how much they are now selling for! A replacement motor alone is around $90.00. This unit has enough power (and then some) to do anything reasonable asked of it and it still looks great cosmetically after ten years of medium duty use. You will NEVER be accused of "...sending a boy to do a man's job..." with this vacuum.
