(More customer reviews)Don't be fooled by this pool. It looks like an Intex pool; however, this pool made by GenFoam is junk. We had an Intex pool for 5 yrs and never had a problem until it developed too many leaks to fix. So we bought a new one. We set up the pool (easy to do), and discovered 10 leaks all near the top half of the pool. We drained the pool and took the liner back. One month later the hose cracked. (We only had to replace the Intex hoses twice in 5 yrs.) Two months after buying the pool the pump broke. Got a new pump from Genfoam and one week later it wouldn't work. This was in September and I was told to call back in March because they don't manufacture pool products from September thru March. (This wouldn't be so bad if we didn't live in the south where the swimming season goes through November.) It is now March 3rd and after ordering another pump Genfoam tells me that I can expect the pump anytime from March through August! This particular pump is attached to the pool wall and in-wall skimmer so you cannot use any other pump. Long story short-don't waste your money. BUY AN INTEX POOL.

Robokleen Plus Above Ground Pool Cleaner Review

(More customer reviews)I've had this pool cleaner for two years...going on my third summer. I had the "lady bug" type before for my 12 X 28 Doughboy pool. This Robo Kleen is 100% better. You drop it in and turn it on...the rest is done auto-matically. The pool is sparkling clean real quick. The machine has a cloth-type filter that is easy to take off and spray clean. My filter is still as good as the first day I got it and it has cleaned hundreds of times. Also, by running this cleaner and not the big filter that was running the "lady bug", I see a big difference in power usage.
The one draw back to this machine is when you remove the machine from the water. Its heavy for a few moments untill the water drains out...probably about 50 pounds. Its no problem for me, but too much for the wife or kids. Just be aware. Overall I'd rate my happiness at about 90% with the product. The price, at about $500 with S/H, was the biggest obstacle but after you see how well it works...the money is at least well spent. Happy Swimming!

Intex Ultra Frame 18-Foot-by-52-Inch Round Pool Set Review

(More customer reviews)We live in Florida and have had this pool in use for four months. We really enjoy it and use it daily. It took about two hours to set up on a concrete pad we had poured for it. The instructions for setting up and operating the pool were clear and correct. It looks very nice and the quality seems excellent for the price. The chlorine generator/salt-water system works perfectly. Except for the initial salt and a few adjustments to keep the PH balanced, we have done nothing to the water which is sparkling clear. The water feels nice on the skin and there is no chlorine smell. The water has a barely noticeable salt taste, but swimming underwater with eyes open causes no irritation or redness. The included skimmer and vacuum system both work very well. The volleyball net that comes with the pool is very well made and is a nice addition to the pool, especially for our grandkids. The pump, which was very quiet initially, has gotten louder, but it still works fine and the noise is not really loud enough to be an issue. This may be unique to our particular pump, but is mentioned because it is the only complaint we have had with any of it so far. We plan to take it down when the water gets too cool to enjoy. This may sound like a lot of work, but it is a clever system that is easy to assemble. Winterizing a permanent pool and getting it ready again for the next swimming season is a fair amount of work and chemical expense also. We have had above and in-ground pools previously and this seems like a good idea. If there are storage or reassembly problems, I will update this review next year.

(More customer reviews)Love the pool- but be ready for the expense of chemicals, toys, tools, water- The pump ours came with wasn't strong enough- this is our second season- we just bought a new pump due to cloudy water ($110pump ...already spent 100bucks on chemicals to "fix" what might be the problem) - all chemicals are good- the pool store checked the water a couple times- determined it was the pump- We leveled the ground- we got a bobcat dug down 8-9 inches when our yard sloped slightly- we got 3 tons of sand- leveled that out.... did NOT put down the drop cloth..... it is great! Love having the pool- one day when we have enough $$ we will get an inground pool- but this is great for now!!!
