Buying tools that break down and do not do the job I need them for end up costing me time as well as money. The Panasonic 14.4-Volt Impact Driver is superior to any other impact/driver I have ever used. I own a Hitachi as well as a Makita and they cannot perform even half as well as this Panasonic. I've done my research and every consumer product rating agency out there has rated these Panasonic drill drivers superior to their competitors and now I know why. Their speed is adjustable, with or without a light illuminating the business end of the tool as well as consistent power to to the job when you need it. Plus it also has a dial telling you how much power you have left on a charge. Which means you don't have to get to the top of an extension ladder or inside of a crawl-space to learn your battery charge has expired. Take it from this professional, you won't be sorry with this tool. As a bonus in this kit (ECY142B) you also get a drill driver and a flashlight and if you order before October 15, 2008 you can also send for a free third battery.
