Anyhow, this is a fantastic generator!! As another reviewer stated, I put gas and oil in and she fired up on the first pull!! Remarkably quiet, runs very smooth, and everything is solid on this unit! Metal gas tank WITH GAUGE, metal gas cap, the 12v DC charge pins are a GREAT addition should you need to charge a battery while running the generator. Plenty of outlets, a V gauge, breaker switch, nice On/Off switch, the wheel/handle kit is a true bonus, and it also came with a free nylon cover for when it's put away it'll look just like new! Even the paint job is nicely done. For the money you can't beat this price, especially the shipping!! Take a look around, you will NOT find a better deal on a generator with these features.
It's worth noting that the system is a 4400watt PEAK load. It will maintain a 3500watt load, and the extra 900w are to handle the occasional surge when, say, a freezer or refrigerator kicks in. The manual has a nice breakdown of typical wattage draws from various home appliances so you can gauge your use accordingly. This will power all at the same time:
- my chest freezer
- my refrigerator
- my TV/Stereo
- 3 Lights
- Radio (boombox)
and there is still room for a few other items.
Great deal overall! I also purchased a "gas station", a 15gallon cylinder with a hose/spigot, to keep on hand for any emergencies which I'd need the gen for.

(More customer reviews)I love my new sink. This is my second Blanco I've purchased and I really like the look of the metal and the configuration of their products. There is ample room in the large side for stacking dishes or pots to be scrubbed after soaking for a week. (Cooking is not my forte.) It's sufficiently deep to reduce or eliminate splash, too. I don't need anything bigger than the tiny second sink for the disposal. I recommend buying the protective "shelf" that is an accessory for this sink to help keep it looking wonderful for a long time to come. I also wipe my sink down daily (yes, I do have a life, but I still love this sink, too), and it helps keep down on the wretched hard water marks.

Mine is less than 2 months old and it has scuff marks in the bottom of it that will not come out. Also has scratches on the edge from when the plumber installed it. For this price, you would think the finish would have been more resistant to everyday use. I wish I had gone to Home Depot and bought a sink off the shelf for $119.

(More customer reviews)I bought a 8' televator ladder. The ladder installation was simple. The instruction were great (and I am not a handy person). They claim it's a one person job. I found that to be quite true. There is a well thought out installaiton procedure and well designed parts (assuming you read directions carefully). The only down side is that it does not come with a door. I assume this is because the opening sizes vary so much. They do provide all the necessary hardware and (excellent) templates for drilling holes. You have to measure, buy and finish is the plywood for the door. Unfortunatly this can be pricey. I had to buy a whole 4x8 sheet of birch plywood and only used a fraction of it. The directions for the door assembly are a little less clear than the ladder install but I managed with out too much hassle. The only other thing I can think of now that I didn't think about when I was installing was that the ladder reduces the overall size of the attic access hole. We now have to re-box some things in the attic so we can fit them through the smaller access. Some bigger things in the attic may require removal of the stairs but I think that won't be too bad to do if/when I need to do it. It is great not having to stash a step ladder upstairs any more. I knew I had to do something after my wife fell off the step ladder while climbing out of the attic one day. This is a great alternative when you don't have the space for a real set of stairs.

(More customer reviews)I had purchased a small contractor DeWalt 745 saw. It was a great little saw. But I wanted the larger 744x unit. I need a bigger fence area. Got the first 744 and it had a problem with the rack and pinion fence. It was so tight It wouldn' move. Tried adjusting it via the owners manual to no avail. Amazon shipped another unit and to my dismay it also had a rack and pinion AND fence problem. The fence would hang on the right miter slot. And the pinion gears jumped off the track when trying to adjust the fence. I'm very dissappointed in the factory setup on these saws. Poor quality control. I believe once I get beyond these poor factory quality issues I might have a good saw. But frankly, I would think twice before purchasing a DeWalt saw agaain . . .

DEWALT DW716 15 Amp 12-Inch Double-Bevel Compound Miter Saw Review

(More customer reviews)I was ready to upgrade from my Delta 10" miter to a 12", but was waiting for Dewalt to come out with a laser system. I bought this DW716 about 2 weeks ago and so far I love it. I opted NOT to get the sliding miter, since they are not as accurate as the non-sliding, especially for making furniture. This saw is very powerful and smooth, and the laser works well, though it took a while to get it set up (the instructions are marginal at best, leaving you to twiddle with it for an hour or more to try to get it to line up in every direction).
One thing I HIGHLY recommend is a RIDGID MS-UV miter stand. I found one at Home Depot and it is the best miter saw stand on the market, and very reasonably priced. It folds and unfolds easily, and the wheels make mobility great. It is MUCH better than the Dewalt or the Delta miter saw stands. Why Dewalt doesn't have a folding one with wheels is beyond me, and the Delta one is just too small for a 12" miter. The combination of a stand and a 12" miter needs wheels, as it is very heavy. You can leave the Dewalt 12" miter mounted to the RIDGID, and even set it vertically in the corner out of the way when you don't need it. Anyway, Amazon doesn't sell the Ridgid MS-UV yet, but Home Depot does.
