(More customer reviews)I was very happy with the duplication of this machine. However the video and the written instructions that were included were terrible. The video was made in 1990 and it shows an out of date assembly method. I watched the out of focus video and muffled sound for about 5 minutes. The video was no help on how the machine is put together. The written instructions were no better. The print is small and it does not show where to install all the parts that were given. The manufacturer needs at least a full color photo so you can have some kind of idea where things go. That being said I would still recommend this duplicator even though setting it up was time consuming. You can e-mail me at mccormickwoodworking.com if you need any help setting yours up. (More customer reviews)....I find that this is a very nicely engineered tool. It is easyto set up after watching the video, though the written instructionsare poor. Some of the non-essential parts are poorly machined, but this does not effect their performance, just their asthetics. I would recommend this tool for anyone who would like a duplicator regardless of the lathe that you own. With a little help from Vega and Amazon, my duplicator fit my vintage Oliver lathe perfectly.

I have owned and used this system weekly for over two years, and never had to readjust the fence. Removal of the fence is also a one hand operation, just lift off and stow away.

Vega PRO 50 Table Saw Fence System: 42-Inch Fence Bar, 50-Inch to Right Review

(More customer reviews)It took me a little longer to set up than most. I mounted it on a 20 year old duracraft 10" by making some custom brackets. To mount this fence your table should be 27.25" +- .75" deep and the mounting holes for the rails should be 16" apart, 8" on each side of the blade and 1-3/16" from the top of the table. If your saw falls within these dims you should have it up and running within 20 minutes. It took me about 5 hours to mill aluminum table extensions for mine and get it mounted.
About the only thing I would change with the fence is that the indicator window rides about .5" above the tape on the rail -- this allows for too much error depending on your line of sight. I have mine set up so I can cut within +-.007" by only using the scale on the rail (that's right, +-1/128") but if someone else used it they might not know which eye to close and where to hold their head. :-) Of course, with the micro adjust you could probably cut within .001" with a couple setup cuts.
All in all I was amazed at the accuracy, ease of use, and simplicity of this fence. After I ordered it I wondered if I should have ordered the incra TS III because it has multiple rails and should hold square better. Once I got it and set it up, I think this fence is just right for my saw and it holds square perfectly. Maybe I'll try out the incra design on my router table.
