Powermatic 1610077K Model 60B 8-Inch 2-Horsepower Jointer, 208/230-Volt 1-Phase Review

Powermatic 1610077K Model 60B 8-Inch 2-Horsepower Jointer, 208/230-Volt 1-Phase

I ordered and received my new Powermatic 60B jointer after comparing various models. I selected the Powermatic 60B based on price, features and Powermatic's reputation for quality.
The jointer I received was shipped in two packages, the first contained the base and motor, while the second contained the jointer bed, fence and cutterhead. The outer packaging used for the jointer bed consists of very thin plywood which was crushed in several places and in very bad shape overall. Fortunately there did not seem to be any obvious damage to the unit, however I believe this packaging is inadequate for its 300 lb contents.
Setup of the jointer was fairly straightforward however after squaring the fence to the infeed table, and checking against the outfeed table it was apparent that the infeed and outfeed tables were not coplanar. This was remedied by shimming the outfeed table and resetting all the knives such that they were parallel to the newly shimmed outfeed table. This took several hours and I was somewhat disappointed at having to do this with a new Powermatic jointer. The only upside is that I now have a better understanding of how to adjust the jointer bed and the knives.
After completing the setup and recalibration, I ran some test cuts and I am generally pleased with the results. The cuts are very smooth and accurate. The motor seems sufficiently powerful and reasonably smooth. The bed and fence seem very solid.
I did not have access to a jointer previously, so the new jointer is a great addition to the shop. I think the performance of the machine is good, however I believe there are some quality control issues that need to be resolved.

Featuring one of the longest beds available on the market, the Powermatic 60B Eight-Inch Jointer provides plenty of work piece support. This jointer is designed to make the smoothest cuts, even in hard materials like rough oak or maple. Also, it boasts sturdy, stable cast-iron and steel construction for optimum durability and vibration-free performance.
Extra Length for Longer BoardsTo accommodate especially long boards and provide plenty of space to work, the Powermatic 60B includes 73-inch-long adjustable in-feed and out-feed tables mounted on dovetailed ways for extra stability.
Powerful, Precise CuttingA controlled chip cutter-head--a Powermatic exclusive with three high-speed, heat-treated M-2 steel knives--spins at 7,000 RPM, makes 21,000 cuts per minute, and reduces the chance of kickback.
Additionally, an extra long rest on the in-feed table is ideal for rabbeting.
When absolute precision is necessary, there's a fine/quick adjustment lever on the in-feed table.
Robust Two-Horsepower Motor and Non-Slip V-Belt DriveThe Powermatic 60B owes its robust performance to a two-horsepower, one-Ph, 230-volt motor and a non-slip v-belt drive for dependable operation.
For protection and longer life, the drive, motor, and switch are all completely enclosed in the sheet metal stand. A dust collection adaptor with four-inch port helps to control the amount of dirt and debris in the shop.
Center-Mounted FenceThe center mounted swiveling fence offers positive stops at 45 degrees left and right, and a plunger-type lock at 90 degrees. At the same time, a positive hold-down clamp prevents the fence from slipping.
Dimensions and Warranty InformationThe Powermatic 60B measures 26 x 38 x 73 inches (W x H x D), weighs 482 pounds, and is backed by a five-year warranty.
What's in the BoxOne 60B Jointer; one jointer stand with motor; one door; one dust chute; one table and fence assembly; one drive belt; one belt guard; one cutter-head guard; two push pads; one hardware bag; one knife setting gauge; manual; and warranty card.

JET DC-1100 / 708626GK 1100 CFM Dust Collector Review

JET DC-1100 / 708626GK 1100 CFM Dust Collector
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been running my DC-1100 for about 6 months now. (My previous reviews mysteriously disappeared.) It is a great machine right out of the box, but I did do one modification to improve it: I added a strip of 1/4" x 3/4" foam insulation in the groove around the center ring that seats the top bag. Without it, the top bag leaked small quantities of fine dust, but not enough to foul the air. Running off 110 volts is a real advantage if you don't want to add more 220 circuits to your shop.
I bought it mainly to use with my Jet 5 hp, left tilt table saw (reviewed separately), but have since made fixtures to use with other tools. It really keeps the table saw clean. I also purchased a Woodstock International W1044, 4" to 2-1/2" adapter which allows me to connect it to my old shop vac hose for use on the floor and my router table. This machine is so quiet that my old shop vac now sits in the corner collecting no dust!
It really is quiet - making not much more noise than the average window air conditioner. I often leave it running between cuts and setups, just because I hate to bend down to reach the switch. It would be nice if Jet could mount it higher on the machine, like on one of the legs that hold the bags.
Other than the switch location and the easily fixed dust leak on the top bag, this machine approaches perfection. It will be a real improvement to your shop, especially if you are using a screaming shop vac for dust collection now!

DELTA 22-790X X Series 15-Inch Planer Review

DELTA 22-790X X Series 15-Inch Planer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I replaced my Makita bench top planner with this Delta 15" to handle my growing thirst to build larger furniture from bigger rough cut lumber. The Makita did a fine job for 6 years but it had it limits when it came to working a pile of figured hardwood
I had several criteria for choosing a new planer;
Reputable manufacture & warranty
15" minimum width capacity
2 Speed feed rate
Highly mobile and small enough to fit into my shop
Tall enough outfeed to put long boards over the top of my table saw
Byrd Shelix indexable carbide spiral cutterhead or convertible to Shelix in future
The Powermatic 15HH15 $2500 and Grizzly G1021X2 $1500 + shipping + mobile base, met most of my needs. However, both have rigid mounted infeed and outfeeds which would take up a lot of room in my shop all the time. The Powermatic has a built-in base that doesn't work well in dust or on an uneven floor and it could not be easily raised to put the outfeed over my tablesaw. The Grizzly planer was economical but the one year warranty and the lack of a dealer network bothered me. Space requirements became the deal breaker with these two.I got the Delta 22-790X with the mobile base for $1400. It has a 5 year warranty, a great dealer/service network. The infeed/outfeed tables pivot down and I can easily move this planer around my shop.
It took some work to set it up by myself. I used mineral sprites to clean off the rust proofing. The posts must be very clean and lightly oiled, or the lifting crank will work hard. I tipped the head onto some of the Styrofoam packing and attached the base. Tipping it upright wasn't too hard, but I think am a fairly strong guy. To set it on the mobile base I cranked up the head, put three 2x4's 8' long through the planer, rested one end of the 2x4's on my work bench, and the other on a sawhorse. Then I cranked down the head which lifts the planer, slide the base under and lower the planer on to the mobile base. I won't recommend this proceed for everyone, it's safer to follow the Delta directions and get some help.I love the drop-down infeed and outfeed tables. This planer doesn't take up anymore space than the old Makita on a stand. I added a 7" high box between the planer and mobile base to help long boards clear my tablesaw. The two speed feed really makes short work of planning a pile of lumber. At the slower feed rate it leaves a good finish ready for minimal sanding. I must remember to lock down the head at both post clamps or suffer significant snipe.
Tipping the motor to access/change the knives is relatively easy, but I do plan on buying a Byrd Shelix indexable carbide spiral cutterhead someday to make my life easier. Even with the $800 added for cutterhead, the Delta is $300 less than the Powermatic and takes up considerably less room. I am very pleased with the Delta 22-790X.
UPDATE:
I recently added the Byrd Shellex cutter for less than $600. It is an incredable upgrade. On low speed the finish is like glass and on high speed it looks as good as the standard head cut on low speed. An added benifit is that the chips are fine/small, and don't plug the dust collection.
It was not the easiest to change over, but the Byrd provided instructions are good. Make sure that you use new bearings, gasket, gasket sealant, and shaft seal. The bearing might come with the Byrd cutter now, and you can get the shaft seal and gasket from Delta online/phone. Assembly drawings are also available online. Using Permatex helps hold the gasket in place. Mine came folded and the Permatex FORM.A.GASKET sealant was a must because it leaked without it. I also replaced the lube with Mobil sythetic gear lubricant 75W-90 because I use this planer a lot and plan on keeping it for a longtime

DELTA 37-275X X5 Professional 6-Inch 1-Horsepower Jointer, 120/240-Volt 1-Phase

Purchased this jointer over a Jet. Assembly was easy and the directions precise no missing parts. Degreasing the machine was a bear dont be afraid to spare the brake clean and shop rags. Set up after assembly was not bad. Belt alignment was a little tough because the motor moves up and down and laterally at the same time, but after first blood no problem. The fence was easily squared to table and the fence adjustments are simple and work well. The tables are flat to within acceptable tolerances (.005). The outfeed table was a bit tough to adjust, the adjustment wheel was difficult to move but once freed up the adjustment went quick. The knives from the factory were set perfectly. Once switched on you can hardly tell this machine is running. Smooth cuts are effortless and I have plowed through 16/4 maple and cherry with fine results. When working with 3/4 or 4/4 stock this machine isn't even breathing and the edging is flawless. I just completed two cherry tables and it is hard to tell were the joints are. I have had great results with up to 8' long stock for any thing over this the tables are short and snipe a bit. Overall it is worth the price and I do recommend this jointer, how can you miss with a five year warranty. My shop has a variety of tools and I will consider Delta for my next purchase.

Grizzly G0555 The Ultimate 14" Bandsaw Review

Grizzly G0555 The Ultimate 14 Bandsaw
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I searched and searched and finally came to the conclusion that for the average home woodworker's budget, there are three types of bandsaws. Cheap ones that you will wish you didn't buy (think 12" saws made in China and sold at the big box stores), medium priced saws that are ok but have some serious shortcomings (think of the Delta and Jet low-medium priced models), and saws that are good but expensive (Powermatic and Delta X5). After reading absolutely everything written on the subject in the past 5 years (I am a librarian after all) I decided that this Grizzly saw deserves a category of its own. Though it is priced closer to the "cheap" category than the other two, it sports features and performance that are much closer to the "expensive" saw category.
Now that I own this saw I can say that my experience supports my research and vica-versa. Once it was properly set up, this saw has minimal vibration and I quickly came to appreciate features such as a great stand, excellent blade guides, a decent sized table (ground to a nice finish), blade quick-detentioner, a smooth running powerful motor, and a lightweight yet strong and accurate fence and rail system. Did I mention the stand? I am almost embarrased to go on about it, but from the pictures I was expecting a cheapo thin sheet metal stand that I would replace asap. Boy was I wrong. This stand is HEAVY gauge metal and bolts together quickly and perfectly to form a rock solid platform for this saw. I will never bother to change it. I am also well pleased with the power of the 1hp motor. I almost spent hundreds more for the Jet 1.25hp model and am really glad I didn't. With the 6" riser block and an average quality Olson resaw blade installed I have been able to resaw some HARD, 12" wide old growth pine into beautiful bookmatched pieces without so much as a stutter. I wasn't terribly gentle with the feed rate either. It has also handled resawing 6" white oak and walnut with ease.
Overall I can't say enough good things about this saw. The power is excellent, the features all exceed the hype, and the price is outstanding compared to the competition. I highly recommend this product and give Grizzly an A+ for offering high quality at such a great price.

Shop Fox W1666 2 HP 1550 CFM Dust Collector Review

Shop Fox W1666 2 HP 1550 CFM Dust Collector
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
After looking at many of the others in this marketplace, I found the Shop Fox. After closley inspecting the quality and workmanship vs the others, given the price differential I felt that there was not much difference between them.
I purchased this unit. It was well packaged, and all the parts were included. The hardware package was complete with more than enough bolts, washers and nuts for the job. Assembly instructions were clear, and it went together in about an hour. The only annoying thing was the straps for the filter bags which unlike the Delta machine, do not have springs to create the tension needed to clip them shut. However, after a bit of fiddling, I was able to get them to work.
Operationally, it is very effective, moves a lot of air, and really keeps the chips and dust down. I'd recommend using a trash trap ahead of the blower assembly to catch larger bits of wood, especially if you're using it on a tool that makes larger chips and chunks.
It's noisy, natually, but works well, and I'm very satisfied with the performance. I'd also strongly suggest the use of either blast gate switches or a remote 220 switch. Walking over to turn it on and off is a pain. Shop Fox makes a remote switch for about $45 which is GREAT! Just add it to the cost of the unit. You'll be glad you did. After 6 months of almost daily use, it's working just fine.
Enjoy. BTW, I also have a SF 10" Cabinet saw that I simply love...undoubtedly the best bang for the buck out there.

Milwaukee 6480-20 15 Amp 8-Inch Complete Panel Saw System with 50-Inch Crosscut Review

Milwaukee 6480-20 15 Amp 8-Inch Complete Panel Saw System with 50-Inch Crosscut
Average Reviews:

Like all Milwaukee tools, this saw is simply the best. It is as accurate as you are, and doesn't even take up as much space as one would think. For anyone who has ever cut a 4x8 sheet of plywood on a table saw, you NEED to get one of these. I wasn't sure I needed it, but I wouldn't give it up now for anything. The only negative is that if you have it delivered, I recommend that you have at least two people to move it, it is pretty heavy. That being said though, it is very durable.

Milwaukee's 8-inch panel saw is an ideal tool for lumber yards, because it offers a quick and easy solution to cutting up to 4 by 8-foot sections of sheet goods to size. This unique saw has a cutting accuracy to within +/- 1/32 inch and a material thickness capacity of up to 1-3/4 inch. The saw also features an innovative horizontal handle for convenient on/off saw operation as well as a 20 amp commercial-grade paddle switch for long life.
The 6480-20's frame is made from tough, electrically welded steel to ensure it won't warp or twist. The powerful 15 amp motor is mounted on a carriage that moves horizontally with minimal effort on graphite-impregnated nylon roller bearings which require no lubrication. The saw can also be turned 90 degrees and fixed to make vertical cuts. Horizontal and vertical scales provide quick and accurate cuts. The workpiece can be loaded from either the left or right side and it gently rolls through the saw on a smooth acting roller mechanism. The panel saw is not recommended for ripping panels larger than 4 by 8 feet. The extension kit accessory, 49-22-8108, is recommended for cutting sheet goods over 6 feet long.

DEWALT DW734 15 Amp 12-1/2-Inch Benchtop Planer Review

DEWALT DW734 15 Amp 12-1/2-Inch Benchtop Planer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was one of the first to get the DW734 from Amazon. Other than the 3-knife head (with 2-sided disposable blades instead of resharpenable) and some styling details, the 734 planer appears to be identical to the previous model, the 733. I haven't been able to get any detailed info on changes between the two models from any source I researched.
It was set up right on the money out of the box except that the cut depth gage is off by around 1/128" (not enough to matter). I was pleased that it came with a dust hood (4"), something not listed in any of the info I was able to get before the purchase.
The cut is silky smooth--unless you look very closely in bright light on a darker wood surface (like walnut) you can't see any blade marks at all.
The machine functions very well--easy to set up, the controls operate very smoothly and precisely, and each of the features works as expected without needless fiddling. The dust hood, even though only 4", clears chips and dust very efficiently. The only time any chips escaped was when I tried to take 1/8" off of a 6" board (a no-no according to the owner manual), and then I got a little puff of shavings out the feed end. (My setup is a Jet DC1100CK 1 1/2 HP dust collector connected via a 6" shop duct system, blast gate, 6" flex pipe and a reducer to the 734's 4" dust port.)
I did have problems with a little snipe when attempting to take more than 1/32 inch in a pass--I may be able to adjust this out of the planer, but I often make two passes anyway: one to thickness and one to surface.
I was surprised to have several small nicks in the blades after planing perhaps 8-10 bf of scrap (carefully inspected/cleaned beforehand), probably due to contaminants in/on the boards. In one case a small knot apparently made a nick. This was disappointing as the planer only comes with 1 set of knives and a new set is fairly expensive. Two passes at the same thickness setting makes the nick traces all but vanish, but this means passing the wood thru the planer 3 times to avoid snipe and nick traces. Perhaps the nicks were a result of embedded sand or silica in the particular scraps used, not something that will happen on a regular basis. (Although my Jet jointer didn't take any nicks when I jointed the same scraps.)
It appears to have the same fit and finish as the more expensive the Delta 2-speed, but the 734 is lighter and more portable. But I'm told the Delta unit is less prone to snipe. I chose the 734 over the 733 because of its disposable knives (I don't have a very trustworthy sharpening service near me) and because of the 3-knife head, which should save me some sanding. If those things aren't important to you, the older 733 might be a better value, while supplies last.
Based on my short experience, I'd recommend the 734. I withheld 1 star because of the snipe and nick problems.

The DEWALT DW734 12-1/2-Inch Thickness Planer features a three-knife cutterhead and a powerful, 15 amp motor that delivers 10,000 rpm. Also offering quick, accurate depth adjustment, extra-long feed tables for material support, and the convenience of knives that are reversible and disposable, this planer makes it easy to create clean, custom stock.
Powerful 15 Amp Motor for Deep, Clean CutsBenchtop planers are a long-term investment that allow you to buy rough stock and dimension it yourself. They also make creating custom materials easier, which, makes getting great results easier.
This planer's powerful 15 amp motor handles a wide range of tough hardwoods, and its three-knife cutterhead spins at 10,000 RPM to provide 96 cuts per inch.
Reversible, Disposable Knives for ConvenienceThe DEWALT DW734 uses razor sharp knives that are reversible and disposable. These knives last 30 percent longer than traditional disposable knives, helping you avoid costly and time-consuming resharpening.
For fast, easy, one-tool knife changes, a set of pins machined on the cutter-head goes through holes machined on the knife. This helps you quickly locate the fresh knife and refasten the knife clamp.
Effective Dust and Debris ManagementThe DW734 planer includes a dust hood that attaches to a shop vacuum or standing dust collector (sold separately) for efficient collection of chips and debris.
Large Capacity and Easy, Accurate Depth AdjustmentThis planer's extra-long infeed and outfeed tables provide 33-1/2 inches of material support. A turret depth stop saves you time when setting the machine at commonly used depths.
In addition, the planer's material-removal gauge and extra-large thickness scale help ensure every pass is accurate. A four-column carriage lock drastically reduces the movement that causes material damage, or snipe, when planning near the end of a board.
This sturdy planer weighs 80 pounds. It offers a maximum cut depth of 1/8 inch, a depth capacity of 6 inches, and a width capacity of 12-1/2 inches.
This DW734 12-1/2-Inch Thickness Planer with Three Knife Cutterhead comes with a DEWALT warranty package that includes a three-year limited warranty, a one-year free service contract, and a 90-day money-back guarantee.

DEWALT DW735 15 Amp 13-Inch Benchtop Planer Review

DEWALT DW735 15 Amp 13-Inch Benchtop Planer
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
This is the first planer I have ever owned or used so I don't have anything for comparison but I like it so far. Out of the box you attach the hand crank and the dust attachment and you are ready to go. There are two dust attachments one to attach a 4" hose and another (diffuser maybe?) for no hose attachment. The directions are pretty well written and easy to follow. All the adjustments and work on the unit can be done with the one included tool that drops into a holder on the top. All the controls work great and are easy to operate.
First let me say again this is the first time I have ever used a planer so a lot (okay, probably all :) of the snipe I got was user error. The more boards I put through the less snipe I got. It took a little playing around with and reading to learn the correct technique for moving stock through so I did get snipe on the first bunch of passes on stock, more frequently on the end of the boards then on the front. Most of what I put through was between 3 and 6 inches wide and 2-5 feet long. I did put a couple wider ones in just to see how it handled it. On a 14in long 11in wide hard maple glue up I took off 1/16th per pass and got no snipe or tearout. Then I put through a 10in wide 4ft long oak board and did get snipe on the end but not the start. I still think it's technique because it didn't do it on every pass and when taking off 1/32 I didn't get it at all. The folding tables aren't out yet, but they will probably help even more. I'm pretty convinced once I get the proper technique down I won't get snipe anymore. I'm getting more and more snipe free boards.
I can't say anything bad about the surfaces. I have had zero tearout and ultra smooth surfaces on everything I have put in no matter what I do. The most I have taken off is an 1/8in while only taking 1/32in on the longer boards. Most of the time I had it set to 1/16in. Probably 50% at 1/16, 30% at 1/8, and 20% at 1/32. I put through a pretty good mix of pine, red oak, hard maple, and ash with most of it being red oak.
The crank turns easily and each turn is 1/16in. The depth stop is easy to set and is for 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1, and 1 1/4. The removal scale is pretty nice as well, you put the end of the board just under the edge and turn the crank. A little pointer moves on a scale to tell you how much will be taken off. It has a little chart built in showing the max that can taken off based on board width, which is nice for me because I didn't know. The thickness scale is pretty big, easy to read, and easy to set. I only ran it with my dust collector hooked up to the 4" port, but it grabbed everything. After running all the wood through, probably about 4 hours total use, there where 3 little wood chips beside the bed and that's all - the dust collector had the rest. The thing I don't like about it is the dust attachment is right in the center above the outfeed so unless you angle the hose away to the side with an elbow or suspend it somehow it gets in the way of the stock coming out. But so far that is my only gripe. This thing is really loud but I expected that, it's the loudest tool I have. All the scales and settings where dead on right out of the box. I do wish the folding tables came bundled. Overall I'm one happy camper.
Okay, I finally got the folding tables. They are very easy to assemble and align. Each corner of each table can be adjusted for height. The attachment points are spring loaded so they are also easy to take off and put back on. They do help in supporting the work and seem very solid. The front table folds up out of the way and stays there. The rear table however is another story. Because the main table and the back of the moter/blade assembly are pretty much even and the pin to hold the table is set back the rear table will never fold up and stay. When the depth of cut is set around an inch and the cord is wrapped around the cord holder the rear table won't flip up more then around 20 degrees. In my opinion this is a major design flaw, the main table needs to stick out at the rear by at least an inch or two to allow the table to fold up.

The DEWALT DW735 features a three-knife cutterhead and a powerful 15 amp motor that delivers 10,000 rpm. It offers quick, accurate depth adjustment and the convenience of knives that are both reversible and disposable. This fully featured portable planer makes it easy to create clean custom stock.
Powerful 15 Amp Motor for Clean CutsBenchtop planers are a long-term investment that allow you to save money over time by buying rough stock and dimensioning it yourself. They also make creating custom materials easier, which, in turn, makes getting great results easier.
The DW735 13-Inch Planer's powerful 15 amp motor can handle deep cuts in tough hardwoods. Its three-knife cutterhead and two-speed gearbox deliver 96 or 179 cuts per inch (cpi). Use 96 cpi when dimensioning material and 179 cpi for a finer finish.
Fan-Assisted Chip Ejection for Dust ManagementThe DW735 features a Fan-Assisted Chip Ejection System with a motorized fan that breaks down debris as it leaves the cutterhead and blows it into one of the two dust shrouds (included). One shroud disperses the chips down onto the shop floor while the other provides a connection for a vacuum hose or dust-collector hose.
This sturdy planer weighs 92 pounds. It offers a maximum cut depth of 1/8 inch, a depth capacity of 6 inches, and a width capacity of 13 inches.
The DW735 13-Inch Thickness Two-Speed Planer with Three-Knife Cutterhead also comes with a DEWALT warranty package that includes a three-year limited warranty, a one-year free service contract, and a 90-day money-back guarantee.

DELTA 50-760 1.5HP 1,200 CFM Vertical Bag Dust Collector Review

DELTA 50-760 1.5HP 1,200 CFM Vertical Bag Dust Collector
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I was going to get the Delta 50-850 but this one includes standard 1 micron bags so I decided to get the 50-760 instead. Set up took about 15 minutes including fumbling with the bag and the exterior band strap. Delta includes an interior flexible band & a band strap to mount the bottom bag with. I suppose out of habit I used the band strap but the flex band seems a lot easier and I will probably switch bag mounting methods next time I empty it. The unit runs a lot quieter than I had imagined and seems to have more than enough power to collect the dust from my shop. With 2 clear chip bags 1 micron collection and the cfm rating this machine is hard to beat. I do not see having to upgrade to anything larger.

Help protect your health with the Delta 50-760 1-1/2-Horsepower, 1,200-CFM Dust Collector. Thanks to one-micron filtration bags, a powerful motor, replaceable dust ports, easy maneuverability, durable construction, and more, the 50-760 provides dependable dust collection for a clean work environment. And even with its powerful suction capability, this dust collector is surprisingly quiet.
Keep Your Shop Safe and CleanWith two four-inch replaceable dust ports and an upper filter bag that has the ability to filter out pollutants measuring just one micron in size, this dust collector efficiently extracts fine, invisible dust particles from the air. Much airborne dust--including wood dust--contains chemicals that can trigger severe allergic reactions in humans. And long-term exposure to dust can cause a measurable, sometimes permanent loss of respiratory capacity. This is why it is so important to protect yourself from dust that can lead to health problems down the road.
Powerful Dust Collector Goes Where You GoDesigned to work as efficiently as possible, the 50-760 features a 1.5-horsepower, 3,450-RPM, 120/240-volt, 60-hertz, single-phase induction motor, which moves up to 1,200 cubic feet of air per minute. And without compromising any of that power, this dust collector has a unique, volume-saving vertical design.
So you can clean any work surface or area in your shop, and to make storage a snap, the 50-760 sits on heavy-duty casters, a sturdy steel base, and four glide wheels to allow for easy maneuverability without floor damage. For added convenience, the motor housing can be mounted with the dust ports facing up or down.
The 50-760 measures 35.5 x 20.0 x 18.0 inches (WxHxD) and weighs 95.6 pounds.
Quick-Change Bags Simplify Dust CollectionIn addition to the one-micron filtration bag, this collector uses transparent, plastic chip collection bags that make it easy to see when it's time for a bag change.
