(More customer reviews)Ordered this product from A1 pool supply / web ware house / Amazon. Received pump promptly, about a week. When I wired the pump and turned it on it smoked, burned up. I immediately tried to contact the seller, they didnt have a direct phone or e-mail I had to go through Amazon and they would forward my e-mail. No reply for a couple days I tried again, no reply after a couple more days. Fianlly I talked with Amazon direct they asked me to wait one more week, so I did, still nothing. Talked with Amazon again they then contacted A1 pool supply then I got a quick e-mail response with phone number. I called no answer left message, a guy called back and left message, we did this twice I then left my cell nember and he never called back. Talked to Amazon and filled out a guarentee A to Z and they, Amazon, credited my account as for A1 pool supply???? wont do business with them again. I guess all I can say is if the seller does not provide a return policy with contact information DO NOT do business with them. Once again Amazon was great.

(More customer reviews)Bought this motor months ago and its still working. Needed a replacement motor for my Broan bathroom fan that burnt out. The shaft was slightly shorter than the one that was in there before, but it still works great. No problems at all installing it, just had to reinstall the shaft in the opposite direction so the fan I have would blow the air out instead of in(CW rotation). Definitely recommend buying if you have a Broan bathroom fan that's separate from the heat lamp. In fact, I came on here to buy another one because I had another one go out on me.

I was about to get a roofer to install a new attic fan for around $350 but decided to see if the motor was available. After taking my old motor off, I did a search on the part number and was able to find the replacement motor with shipping for around $50. I also received the motor earlier than promised. .

A universal mounting hardware kit comes in the box with each motor to replace older models. Do not attempt to buy a new unit and pull the motor out; the mounting has changed. The conduit (flexible cable) can be used from your previous motor simply by un-screwing it and putting it on your new motor. Lomanco motor comes with Universal mounting kit to replace the flat plate (with 3 mounting holes). Lomanco motor does not have the flat plate sandwiched in between motor laminations. If your motor mounts with a belly band around the motor (5" Diameter motor), this motor should work fine. If you need a longer shaft take a look at motor #PD144, it has a 4" long shaft with similar mounting characteristics. Replacement fan blade # 14393 available. 1 Year manufacture warranty.

(More customer reviews)We had to make minor adjustments to the blades on the fan because it did not exactly fit the hole in the wall that housed the old fan blades, but the fan does work and is still working. I would have liked a more powerful motor to open the door to the outside but it is hard to even find a fan with blades that fit our dimensions. Also the old fan was metal and this one is plastic but that was a good thing because we had to cut the blades down in spots so it would fit.

(More customer reviews)The motor came in quickly via USPS. It looks very similar to the one I was trying to replace in my bathroom fan, but oddly, the hardware seemed to be on the opposite side of where it was supposed to be.
After some research on the internet, I found out that this particular motor was reversible. After a couple tries, I managed to reverse the hardware so that I could attach the motor for a good fit into my ceiling assembly. The reversal process just required to remove two long screws, for which I needed to use torx screwdrivers, revert the bracket supporting the motor axle, re-tighten the screws et voila...
I wasn't too sure if the motor was going to turn in the correct direction after the modification, but it did. A simple tissue placed below the aspiration grid was quickly sucked towards the plate confirming proper installation.

It was exactly the right size replacement for what we had, which doesn't seem to be around any more.
Just one thing, however; the fan blade/wheel is actually 4.5 inches in diameter, not four, like most of the descriptions say. This worked for us, but pay attention to whether or not it will work for you.

I was looking for motors on Amazon and several that were close seemed to be from Electric Motor Warehouse. In my case , I had to find what I needed based on the old motor as there are no data plates on the fan assembly. Hot Tip: Go to the Electric Motor site First where you will find endless choices and find what you need, Then come back to Amazon and plug what you need into the search box and bingo, you're on your way! It would be helpful in a case like this if Electric Motor had a "drill down" search using motor specs -hp,volts,rotation, etc, but with a little patience you'll find what you need. This turned out to be a perfect replacement. Very happy with it.
